The Sam Moore story began in Bedford in 1940 when the company began producing quality, affordable, and comfortable seating. In 2007 Sam Moore was acquired by another fine Virginia furniture maker, Hooker Furniture, which shares its love of craftsmanship, value, and quality. The result is a brand known for old-fashioned workmanship and modern colors that are perfect for today’s casual lifestyle.
