Cresent Furniture

Cresent

Cresent fine furniture is known for making high-quality 18th century reproductions at fair prices. Its designs offer consumers the beauty and tradition of solid mahogany Colonial furniture that was once strictly reserved for the higher end of the market.

Over the last ten years, Cresent’s line of furniture has grown to include Art Deco Contemporary, Neo-classical Modern, 18th Century Traditional, Shaker and Transitional Designs.

For over fifty years, the Cresent® name has been linked with the highest quality at the best value in the furniture industry. They use time-tested construction techniques such as:

  • mortise and tenon joinery
  • full-floating construction
  • traditionally built double-doweled dining chairs
  • hand-fitted, graduated drawers and more

While these methods ensure an excellent finished product, modern machining technology and efficient production techniques allow them to offer high-quality furniture at an unsurpassed value.

Some of the modern innovations that Cresent is proud to incorporate into its pieces include:

  • Media-friendly dressers and power strips in night stands
  • Built-in wine storage for dining room pieces
  • Whisper Close drawer slides

Cresent fine furniture also seeks to source only responsibly harvested wood. To that end they use primarily American hardwoods such as maple, cherry, oak, and poplar. These species are harvested and milled in North America, subject to the strict environmental oversight of the US and Canada. In addition, the jobs created by these activities support rural economies throughout North America.

Cresent furniture inspects and grades each piece of lumber to ensure its quality, and the lumber is then seasoned and kiln-dried to ensure that the furniture will provide the consumer with a lifetime of beauty and enjoyment.
