Reimagining William Bottomley’s Rooftop Terrace

We’ve been deep in kitchen design plans, but now it’s time for a big architectural update upstairs. We’re relocating the rooftop terrace access!

Currently the only way to the terrace is through the master bedroom, which isn’t ideal for entertaining guests. By adding a door to the second-floor landing, the terrace rooftop will be much more accessible. (It will also be a great spot for evening cocktails with friends!)

But this design update isn’t just about convenience. It’s about preserving the integrity of the Mediterranean Revival architecture and enhancing the seamless flow of indoor-outdoor living.

In this video Den Cralle walks us through the plans, showing how this simple change enhances the functionality of the rooftop terrace. By staying true to William Bottomley’s architectural vision, we’re creating a space that serves modern needs without compromising on the home’s historic charm.
