Meadowcraft Inc. is the largest manufacturer of casual outdoor furniture and wrought iron furniture in the United States.

Meadowcraft provides a quality wrought iron furniture frame and an electric powder-coated finish process that will hold up in any outdoor setting. Wrought iron is extremely strong and durable, making it a tremendous value providing years of low-maintenance comfort. Because of its weight, wrought iron furniture is not as susceptible to wind and weather conditions as other materials.

• Meadowcraft inspects each piece of furniture and carefully cleans it to ensure each product is beautifully made.
• Using a state-of-the-art primer and powder coating system, Meadowcraft finishes each product using the highest quality PPG Ultra durable products.
• Frames are electrostatic primed, resulting in four times greater corrosion resistance and more uniform paint adhesion with e-coat fully submerging primer system.

Meadowcraft also uses a state-of-the-art epoxy primer system. This special primer system is the same system used by Detroit automakers to prime car metal for painting. After furniture emerges from the primer system, it is thoroughly coated with one of Meadowcraft’s popular powder-coat finishes.

In addition, the wrought iron category contains many choices in accessory items such as chaises, tea carts, stack tables, étagères and much, much more. These items can be purchased to stand alone or to compliment a dining set.

The Meadowcraft factory in Wadley, Alabama is referred to as “The Beast” because of its size, capacity, and infrastructure. Opened in 1963, the structure spans over 1 million square feet and is located on 55 acres. The facility houses over 195 welding machines and contains a 35,000 gallon e-coat dip tank and an integrated Cut and Sew operation built in 2011-12.

Meadowcraft traces its roots back to the Birmingham Ornamental Iron Co., a fledgling operation that started by selling ornamental iron fencing. Today Meadowcraft outdoor products sold include dining groups composed of action chairs, stack chairs, dining tables, bistro groups, and accent tables; accessories such as chaises, gliders, bakers' racks, and tea carts; cushions and umbrellas; and garden products.
