Who is Howard Miller?
Howard Miller is a brand synonymous with “incomparable workmanship, unsurpassed quality, and a quest for perfection.” When Howard C. Miller established the company back in 1926 at the age of 21, it was with this rigorous standard in mind that he permitted his name to adorn every clock produced at his factory in Zeeland, Michigan.
In its initial years, Howard Miller produced chiming wall and mantel clocks, while also pioneering avant-garde timepieces now prized by collectors. By the 1960s, the company had shifted to focus on grandfather clocks, leading them to be recognized as the “World’s Foremost Grandfather Clock Manufacturer.” Howard Miller recently acquired the Hekman Furniture Company, the Woodmark Company, and the Kieninger Company of Germany.
