Foundry 39 is a family-owned company that creates unique industrial pieces using wood and metal surfaces. The company started when Chad Gascho heard a story from his father about a young girl who chewed her pencil in class because she was so hungry. Gascho and his wife Tera began Foundry 39 with a mission of helping underprivileged school-aged children with school supplies, food, and clothing. Foundry 39 started out making industrial lamps and quickly expanded to designing and building furniture.
