Each hardwood frame is designed to have the perfect pitch. Stanford’s seat cushions are made with spring down or feathersoft construction. Almost every piece is built with eight-way hand-tied coil springs.

All of Stanford Furniture's upholstery is bench made with perfected tailoring methods. It cuts every fabric individually to ensure a full pattern match on the front, sides, and back.

Stanford sews pieces using a variety of closing techniques including welt, saddle stitch, top stitch, flange, and decorative trims. Finishing specialists place each nail in a decorative pattern. And, of course, each piece is carefully inspected before sending.

Stanford Furniture makes sustainable choices in its operations and furniture creation. Almost all its wood frames are sourced locally from suppliers within 20 miles and many of its fabrics pass Cal 117 with no flame retardant additives.
